about

The ship arrives at the satellite where Daughter enters and sees her Mother, but soon Daughter realises that something is not right. What appears to be her Mother is in fact a hologram delivering one last message: she has died from lack of life support after her satellite powered down once the power supply had been removed.

lyrics

D: Step through the veil
Now I step through the veil

Oh Mother
You are home
You are holy
Now I have come
To your arms
Time moves slowly

M: Oh Daughter
As my heart feels the old you
I let life go
Though I wish I could hold you

Why did I leave you below
Reasons vanish
All that is here for you now
Is this message

War comes from Mars
And the Earth soon will perish
Here you are safe
And your love
I will cherish
I will cherish
I will cherish
