about

When Daughter insists that she is leaving, Father pulls out a laser gun and attempts to stop her by force. Roid intervenes successfully but is injured: he implores Daughter to fly the space ship and then blacks out. Daughter manages to launch the ship.

lyrics

D: Goodbye father.
F: No - wait - you can’t leave!
D: Is that a laser - are you using tech now?
F: I’m sorry love, but you have to go to sleep.
R: Not so fast!
FX: Laser gun fires.
R: Ow! Quick - grab the controls.
D: But I don’t know how to fly a spaceship!
R: Yes you do! Try and remember.
F: Don’t take her from me!
FX: Laser gun fires twice.
R: Ohhh - I’m blacking out.
D: No, no - don’t leave me to do this on my own - I’ll crash the ship! Oh - the control panel - it’s lighting up! This is happening!
FX: Ship powers up and takes off.
D: Hey, maybe I can do this.
